How to Interpret Tarot Number Combinations

I always take Tarot number combinations to be significant, and I also like to read proportions (the number of Majors to compared Minors, etc.) but there are limits. Number combinations and proportions are only special on a case by case basis.

In divination, proximity, and proportions matter. It is not enough to receive 10 Majors. You have to ask yourself, “What is the probability of getting ten Majors if you’re performing a 50-card reading? In a 50-card reading, suddenly 10 Majors do not seem all that special. By contrast, if you were performing a 12-card reading and 10 Majors showed up, suddenly this seems more significant.

How many cards you have in your reading and how close those cards are matters. It is not enough to say, “Wow I have four Aces in this 50-card reading this must be significant”! It is not, or not as significant as receiving four Aces in a seven-card reading.

So, here are some special reoccurrences in Tarot which are not so special unless there are not a lot of cards in your reading, or those cards are close together.

Cards Back to Back

Some readers read Court cards which appear back to back as symbolizing characters in the seeker’s life which are in conflict. For example, if the guy on the Knight of Wands is looking one direction but the guy on the Knight of Pentacles is looking one way, then some readers would read this as a sign that they are not getting along in real life.

Personally, I read this to only be the case if the cards appear right next to each other, with no other cards in-between. However, there are some readers who interpret the cards in-between them as symbolizing what it is that is coming between these characters (but I don’t read it that way).

For example, if the Knight of Wands and the Knight of Pentacles had the Two of Cups between them, this would mean that they were in disagreement over a relationship.

I feel that, if too many cards are in-between these two cards, then they are not close enough together to be significant. Some readers would disagree, but that’s how I feel.

Multiple Number Combinations

The series we are going to be looking at next week involves reading special number combinations. For example, what is the significance of receiving four Queens in a Tarot reading? My next blog series will explain this in detail.

In this case, the proportions of cards matter. If you have a spread of thirty cards, then special number combinations are not that significant. By contrast, if you only have a Celtic Cross or a ten-card reading, and you receiving four Pages, you may read this as being special and something you should take note of.

Also, I should point out that sometimes the proximity of these cards to each other do matter. If I was performing a large spread and four Knights appeared all huddled up together, I would read this as significant.

However, if there were four Knights in the spread but only three of them were gathered together and one was a million miles away, I would be more inclined to read the three Knights as a three-Knight combination and not take the fourth Knight into account, but it depends on the reading and the circumstances.

Suit Proportions

When I first perform a reading, the first thing I look at is the proportions. Is my reading made up of mostly Court cards? Are there no Cups in my love reading? How many Majors are there compared to Minors? And so on.

I like to do this because I read proportions as significant. If I am performing a love reading, and there are no Cups I have to ask myself why. Why would this reading, which is about love, not include the suit which is centered around relationships?

But, as with anything the ‘specialness’ of proportions is relative. If I pull five Cups in a five-card reading, I would read this as more significant than if five Cups appeared in a fifty-card reading, which would be expected.

Kings and Queens

Finally, I recently wrote about what it means when you receiving the King and Queen of Wands, the King and Queen of Cups, the King and Queen of Swords, or the King and Queen of Pentacles in combination.

As with the other things on this list, I would only really read this as significant if they appeared next to each other, or popped up in a smallish reading. I would be much more likely to interpret the King and Queen of Cups together as a super positive omen if they landed in a simple Past, Present, Future spread than I would if they appeared in a largish table spread (or were spread really far apart).

Closing Thoughts Regarding Tarot Number Combinations

So, that is it for how I interpret Tarot number combinations! Do you take special number combinations to be significant? Do you often get two, three, or four of the same cards in a Tarot reading? Feel free to share your thoughts with myself and my community in the comments section below!

Multiple Kings in a Tarot Reading

What does it mean when you receive multiple Kings in a Tarot reading? Does getting two, three, or four Kings at once have any special significance? Today, I am going to teach you the meaning of receiving these multiples!

In Tarot, the Kings represent authoritative figures, people of power, and the ultimate maturity of their suit. The King of Cups, for example, represents an individual who is highly intuitive and emotionally controlled. Therefore, when multiple Kings appear in a reading, this means that many of these individuals will appear in your life.

With the general King meaning and historical King interpretations from 19th and 20th-century sources in mind, I am going to outline what it means when you receive multiple Kings in your Tarot card reading.

Multiple Kings in a Tarot Reading: Four Kings in a Tarot Reading

When you receive four Kings in a Tarot reading, this means that you will become highly influential. Kings are often associated with people at the top of their industry, so four Kings predict that, in the future, everywhere you look there will be people of power.

It is best if four Kings appear in a career, financial, or business reading because this predicts that you will become a person of influence. You will climb your way to the top and become well known and regarded by people who are interested in the subject matter which you specialize in teaching or doing.

For love and relationship readings, receiving four Kings in your Tarot reading can mean a couple of things. Firstly, it can indicate that your career will become a source of tension in your relationship because you will have all of these Kings and important people fighting for your attention.

Four Kings, Three Kings, Two Kings in a Tarot reading

Alternatively (and most commonly) four Kings can predict that you will begin a relationship with someone who is famous or popular. If you’re already in a partnership, four Kings can mean that your partner will be the one to climb the career ladder and you will reap the benefits.

Lots of Kings: Three Kings in a Tarot Reading

When three Kings appear in a reading, this means that you will receive the advice and opinions of multiple people who, possibly, hold some type of authority (but not always).

For love and relationship readings, three Kings indicate that, if you want your relationship to be successful, you should get advice from relationship experts. This advice could come from coaching but might also be found in books or online.

If three Kings appear in a career or business reading, this means that you will get the assistance of experts. For example, business coaches, a mastermind, or mentors could help you in some way. The help of others is the key to success, so do not discount input from the outside.

Some Kings: Two Kings in a Tarot Reading

Finally, receiving two Kings in a Tarot reading is similar to receiving three Kings, but usually, two indicates that the help you get will be from fewer people. For example, three Kings predicts you will get the help of a group, but two Kings predicts that you will receive support from, say, your mother or a friend.

In love and relationship readings, your friends, family, peers, etc. will help you out by telling you some home truths. They may also instruct you on how you can best move forward with a particular situation.

For business and career readings, getting two Kings close together means that you will get advice from someone who is close to you and has experience in the area in which you are struggling. Do not discount their hints and tips!

Multiple Queens in a Tarot Reading

What does it mean when you receive multiple Queens your Tarot card reading? Does getting two, three, or four Queens at once have any special significance for you? Today, I am going to teach you what the meaning is when you get lots of Queens in your general, love, career, or business reading!

In Tarot, the Queens represent mothering figures, women in power, and (like the Kings) the ultimate maturity of their suit. The Queen of Pentacles, for example, symbolizes a woman who has a taste for luxury. Also, because they are Court cards when multiple Queens appear in your Tarot reading, this predicts that you will associate with many women in the future.

With the above general Queen meaning and historical Queen interpretations from 19th and 20th-century sources in mind, I am going to outline what it means when you receive multiple Queens in your Tarot card reading.

Multiple Queens in a Tarot Reading: Four Queens in a Tarot Reading

In general, when you receive four Queens in a Tarot reading this predicts that you will attend lots of events where large groups of women meet. For example, it is common to get these proportions before a life-changing event, seminar, or retreat.

When they appear in career or business readings, four Queens mean that you will speak at important events related to your career. I once did a reading for a woman who spoke at a very famous mind-body-spirit publishing event; she received four Queens in her career reading.

In love readings, four Queens can mean that your partner will attend or host events that are specifically targeted at women. Alternatively, the four Queens can be a sign that, in the future, you will separate from your current partner and meet someone else who fits this description.

Lots of Queens: Three Queens in a Tarot Reading

Traditionally, three Queens in a Tarot reading are associated with lies and deception. In fortune-telling multiple women are often interpreted by diviners to represent gossip about infidelity.

Four Queens, Three Queens, Two Queens in a Tarot reading

Three Queens can symbolize the loss of a job due to slander. It is also possible that you will lose out on opportunities, such as a job promotion or career progression, because of bitchy, high school behaviour.

Clearly, in love and relationship readings, three Queens can predict infidelity. Usually, when multiple Court cards (Queens) make an appearance in these types of readings, it means that many people will know about the affair before you do.

Some Queens: Two Queens in a Tarot Reading

Finally, two Queens in a Tarot card reading symbolize the support of females who are close to you. These two Queens may represent specific people (a mother and a sister etc.) or they could symbolize just the TLC of other females in your life in general (your group of friends or female family members).

If you are looking for a new job, then these proportions can mean that female friends or family members will assist you in your efforts. If you already have a job, then the Two Queens represent career help you will receive from women close to you. Sometimes in business readings, two Queens can predict that you will one day hire friends or family to work for you in your business.

Finally, in relationship readings, two Queens mean that your friends or family will ‘put in a good word for you’ with your partner. Also, the people represented by the Queens will give you very good advice on how you should proceed with regards to your relationship; do not ignore their wisdom.

If you’re single, two in your Tarot reading can predict that you will meet and fall in love with someone whom you meet through friends or family members; the fact that your future lover has the seal of approval by people close to you is a very good omen.

Multiple Knights in a Tarot Reading

What does it mean when you receive multiple Knights in your Tarot reading? If you have recently performed a reading and you have received lots of Knights there is a special significance to this. Here, I am going to explain the meaning of four, three, or two Knights in one Tarot reading!

Knights usually symbolize young men or individuals in their late teens to early thirties. I read a reoccurrence of Knights as representing situations that you will be involved in that will be typical of a Knight.

With the above interpretation, my own experiences, and historical resources from the 19th century in mind, I am going to explain the significance behind receiving this combination.

Multiple Knights in a Tarot Reading: Four Knights in a Tarot Reading

As four Knights represent young men (or women for some people), then four Knights can predict a situation which you will be in with lots of Knights around you. Therefore, I often interpret four Knights quite negatively as it can sometimes symbolize time spent in prison.

Clearly, when applied to a love, then the above interpretation can mean that the four Knights in your reading means that you or your lover may be incarcerated; this will have an impact on your relationship. Alternatively, it can predict that you will begin a relationship with someone in prison.

If four Knights appear in your business or career reading, the interpretation is not that bad. In career-focused reading, four Knights mean that you will work with prisons, psychologists, criminologist or local authorities as part of your work. The exception, however, is if you’re involved in any illegal activity; if this is the case watch out!

Lots of Knights: Three Knights in a Tarot Reading

According to A.E. Waite, the creator of the Rider Waite Smith Tarot deck, historically, three Knights in a Tarot card reading predicts ‘lively debate’. Personally, I read this to mean that three Knights in a Tarot card reading symbolizes debate and discussions, but not necessarily arguments.

In love readings, three Knights in close proximity can mean that you and your partner are well-matched on an intellectual level. You have the same mentality and can disagree without hostility. Your relationship is a solid one due to your mutual interests and love of debate.

Four Knights, Three Knights, Two Knights in a Tarot reading

For business and career readings, I would take three Knights in your reading as representative of the fact that you will have to defend your viewpoints, expertise, and systems for doing things in your industry. You will have to stand by your convictions with regard to your career.

Some Knights: Two Knights in a Tarot Reading

I have personally found that two Knights in a reading usually means that you will bump into individuals you have not seen in a long time. While Pages can represent friends you have only recently met, Knights are more indicative of childhood friends.

In relationship Tarot readings, two Knights can mean that you and your lover will meet each other’s long time friends. If your romance is serious and you have already become acquainted with each other’s friends, then the two Knights simply represent outsiders (who are old friends) who have some level of impact on your relationship.

Finally, in business and work-related readings, I am inclined to say that two Knights in your Tarot reading means that you will begin to work with people from your past. For example, you might hire an old friend, or one may start a position at your current place of employment.

Multiple Pages in a Tarot Reading

What does it mean when you receive multiple Pages in your Tarot reading? If you have recently performed a reading and you have received lots of Pages there is a special significance to this. Here, I am going to explain the meaning of four, three, or two Pages in one Tarot reading!

Traditionally, Pages represent children, youngsters, and young adults. Therefore, getting more than one of them in your love, business or general Tarot card reading can mean that you will have many young people in your life.

For the following interpretations, I am going to use the above general Page meaning, my own personal experience, and historical sources to tell you what it means if you have received four, three or two Pages in your Tarot card reading.

Multiple Pages in a Tarot Reading: Four Pages in a Tarot Reading

I interpret four Pages in a Tarot reading as symbolizing education and apprenticeships. When four Pages appear in your readings, this generally means that education will play a significant role in your life at some point in the future.

In love or romantic readings, four Pages can mean that either you or your partner will return to education and this will have an impact on your relationship. If you and your lover have children, the four Pages can symbolize them going off to school, college, or university.

For career or business readings, four Pages can predict that you will go on to work in schools, colleges, or other places where there are a lot of younger people. The four Pages simply reflect your role as an educator or teacher in your field.

Surprisingly, in 1911 Waite (the creator of the Rider Waite Smith Tarot deck) noted that four Pages predict illness; this may be because diseases are common in places where lots of children or young adults frequent. Therefore, I would read four Pages negatively for health readings.

Lots of Pages: Three Pages in a Tarot Reading

Waite records that three Pages in a Tarot card reading symbolizes disputes; I agree. The reason why this is so is because many younger people together can often represent immature attitudes and behavior.

Four Pages, Three Pages, Two Pages in a Tarot reading

In relationship readings, although there are exceptions I generally do not interpret Pages as representing the seeker (the person getting the reading) or their partner; for me, they are usually people outside of the relationship. So, if you are performing a love reading, I would say that three Pages represent people who are keen to meddle in your relationship and cause trouble.

Three Pages are the troubling neighbors who hound you and your partner, so if you have experienced this as a couple (or believe you will in the future) this is why it is appearing in your reading.

For career and business readings, three Pages represent people in your workplace (or even online) who you have disagreements with. This negativity may come to ahead in the future, so remain vigilant!

Some Pages: Two Pages in a Tarot Reading

Personally, I interpret two Pages as representing younger (or young at heart!) people who are around you. When more than one appears, this can mean that these individuals have an influence on your life.

For love readings, two Pages can symbolize people on the outside of your relationship who have an input in the outcome of your romance. For example, if you or your partner have children from a previous relationship the Pages represent them. I would be cautious as to not give other people (even children) too much say or power over your partnership.

In business or career readings, two Pages close together can represent younger, less experienced people who are in your industry which you will come into contact with. They may be new workers at your job, or mentees which you will mentor and take under your wing in the near future.

Multiple Tens in a Tarot Reading

You’ve done it. You have thrown a Tarot spread on a matter you really care about (love, relationships, career etc) and you have flipped them over. Suddenly, you notice an enigma – you have lots of Tens in your Tarot spread! What is the meaning of this phenomenon? If you’re curious to discover what it means when you receive multiple Tens in your Tarot reading, then read on!

In numerology, the number ten often represents the end. One chapter is closing, and another is about to begin. You can see this reflected in Tarot based on the general meanings of the cards:

Ten of Wands – A burdensome ending.

Ten of Cups – A happy, fairytale ending.

Ten of Swords – A painful ending.

Ten of Pentacles – An abundant ending.

Because of these meanings, I interpret multiple Tens in a Tarot reading to represent endings and beginnings, but to varying degrees depending on how many Tens there are.

Multiple Tens in a Tarot Reading: Four Tens in a Tarot Reading

Four Tens in a Tarot card reading predicts that you will go through several events that may be painful at first, but they are needed for you to have a fresh start. Four Tens represent a long, drawn-out ending which will take some time to complete.

In a love reading or relationship, I am inclined to interpret four Tens are symbolizing marriage and divorce. Or, a divorce and then a marriage. Again, the four Tens represent the end of one cycle and the start of another and will take a very long time. Sometimes, you will think there is no end in sight but this is not the case.

Similarly, I believe that four Tens predict a dramatic end to one career path. You will then go and work in a completely different field or business. It could take you years to get from point A to point B.

Four Tens, Three Tens, Two Tens in a Tarot reading

Lots of Tens: Three Tens in a Tarot Reading

In my readings, I interpret three Tens to also symbolize painful endings and new beginnings, but ones which will play out much quicker than they would if you or your seeker received four Tens.

In love and relationship readings, I believe that three Tens predict marriage and divorce (as they do with four Tens). However, your relationship will come to a conclusion faster than it would with four Tens. This will not make your situation less painful at the time, but it will not drag on for too long.

For career, work and business readings, I would interpret three Tens the same way I would four Tens but, as I said before, all will happen in a shorter period of time. With four Tens it may take you years to find your path, whereas with three Tens you’re looking at a matter of months not years.

Some Tens: Two Tens in a Tarot Reading

If two Tens appear in your Tarot reading, this means that several areas of your life are coming to their natural end so that you can begin a new stage in your life. While these may feel as though they are painful at the time, you will look back in the future and see it is for the best. You will eventually like the way in which your new life shapes up.

Two Tens in a love reading can be positive or negative depending on how the rest of your reading looks. On one hand, two Tens can symbolize you and your partner’s relationship going to the next level. However, in a reading which looks negative two Tens can also predict separation and the start of a new relationship.

Finally, in career, business, and financial readings two Tens also predict several endings and beginnings.

Multiple Nines in a Tarot Reading

What does it mean when you receive two, three, or even, four Nines in your Tarot card reading? Is there any special significance to getting lots of Nines in your Tarot reading? If you have ever received multiple number Nines in your Tarot card reading and are curious about what the meanings are, you’ve come to the right place!

From a numerological standpoint, the number nine often predicts that you’re at the high point of drama, the final hurdle before the end. You are about to cross the finishing line! In some cultures, the number nine is also associated with wisdom and book smarts.

However, in my Tarot card readings, I do not read the number nine that way (because I am a weirdo). I tend to more so read the Tens as the end of the cycle, not the Nines.

For me, I feel that the number nine often symbolizes the atmosphere of the environment which the seeker inhabits. For example:

The Nine of Wands – An environment of high energy.

The Nine of Cups – A loving, sensual environment filled with your heart’s desires.

The Nine of Swords – A drama-filled, conflict-driven environment.

The Nine of Pentacles – A luxurious, financially stable, comfortable environment.

Therefore, I read multiple Nines as predicting things that are going to take place within your environment. Below, you can find out more about what it means to receive four, three, and two number Nines in your Tarot card reading:

Multiple Nines in a Tarot Reading: Four Nines in a Tarot Reading

In relationship readings, something significant is going to happen with regards to you and your partner’s living situation. If you do not live together just now, you will in the future; chances are you will stay together.

However, if you do live together, I predict that you will not be so in the future. You could separate, or one of you may move away for work.

When it comes to business or career readings, I would say that the four Nines would mean that you will move away to a different country for your job.

Lots of Nines: Three Nines in a Tarot Reading

If you have received three Nines in your Tarot card reading, I would predict that your surroundings are going to have a massive impact on your wellbeing. During this time, you’re going to be at the mercy of your environment.

Four Nines, Three Nines, Two Nines in a Tarot reading

When you get three Nines in a love Tarot reading, this can mean that where you and your partner live will make or break your relationship. Even if you live apart, your current living situation will deeply affect either your current relationship or one you will have in the future.

If you have received three Nines in a career or business Tarot reading, this means that your environment will impact your work. You will allow your living situation to put pressure on your career.

Some Nines: Two Nines in a Tarot Reading

For me, I would interpret two Nines to symbolize being in the right place at the right time. In this case, the environment will not affect you as much as three or four, but two Nines warn if you that you must grab every opportunity or it may pass you by.

If you are performing a love reading and you receive two Nines, this can mean that you will get a chance to come face to face with your potential partner when the time is right. Do not try to force anything; let the universe sort itself out.

For career and business readings, again, you will receive opportunities when you are meant to have them. If something negative has recently happened try not to worry too much about this; what you think is bad for you now is clearing the way for something better. All will happen as it is supposed to.

Multiple Eights in a Tarot Reading

Have you just performed a Tarot card reading and received lots of Eights? Are there four, three, or two cards numbered Eight in your reading? Does your spread contain multiple Eights? If this sounds like you, you’re in the right place!

The number eight is considered rather special in many religions, cultures, and traditions, so receiving many of them in your Tarot reading can be a positive omen, depending on what your goals and aims are.

In Tarot and numerology, the number eight is associated with re-evaluating where you have come from and assessing if this matches where you would like to go. In some cases, eight can represent drive and perfectionism.

The above interpretation is what I am going to use as a guide to decipher what it means when you receive lots of Eights in your Tarot reading. I will also be using my own experience plus early Tarot texts in the below meanings. Enjoy!

Multiple Eights in a Tarot Reading: Four Eights in a Tarot Reading

Four Eights can indicate a major dilemma or a mind-set shift. The things you assumed you wanted from your life will no longer be suitable for you. You will begin to question if what you previously wanted is what you truly need. Although you may think this is a bad thing, it is not. You will gain more clarity with regards to your life choices.

In love readings, four Eights indicate noteworthy psychological changes with regard to how you perceive relationships. For example, if you currently believe in true love you may start to question this belief. Or, if you never believed in marriage you will reassess these opinions and so on.

When it comes to business and career readings, four Eights will signal a desire to completely change paths. You have been working hard on your career up until this point, but you will begin to get the nagging feeling that what you have built is no longer suitable for you.

Four Eights, Three Eights, Two Eights in a Tarot reading

While many people may view the above interpretations as negative, they are not. These revelations are a very good thing for you and will lead you in a positive, clear direction.

Lots of Eights: Three Eights in a Tarot Reading

I would take three Eights as symbolizing a mindset shift that you do not act upon. Instead, you take the path which you have previously set out for yourself and go through with your initial plans. In the end, all will work out for you.

In relationships, you are going to get cold feet in the future. You’re reaching the point of no return and, once you get there, you’ll begin to question if this is what you desire from your life. However, you will push through and be glad you continued with the relationship.

For business or work-related readings, three Eights represents you taking stock of where you have come. No longer will you wing it, but you will move forward with a plan. The future of your career looks very, very promising.

Some Eights: Two Eights in a Tarot Reading

I would interpret two Eights as a symbolizing will-power and motivation but also a desire to do things perfectly the first time around.

For love readings, two Eights can represent the drive to make your relationship amazing. You will go out of your way to do things well this time around. Your romance will be well-balanced.

In career-related readings, two Eights predict that you will try your hardest to do a good job and be noticed. However, as far as you’re concerned, your current path is just a stepping stone for something greater.

Multiple Sevens in a Tarot Reading

You’re sitting with your Tarot cards, reading away, and then suddenly you’re faced with a dilemma. You have received two, three, or even, four Sevens in your Tarot card reading! If you’re wondering why you have these proportions, read on for the meaning of these combinations!

In numerology and magical traditions, the number seven is often associated with magic, psychic ability, intuition, and anything related to the spiritual world. Therefore, when lots of Sevens appear in your Tarot reading, you can expect these matters to be major themes in your life.

The interpretations I am going to share below are based on the above meanings of the number seven, my personal experience reading Tarot, and 20th-century Tarot texts. Enjoy!

Multiple Sevens in a Tarot Reading: Four Sevens in a Tarot Reading

If you have been into anything witchy, spiritual, or magical lately, then receiving four Sevens in your Tarot card reading is a very good sign! This reading means that you have great potential in these areas, and could progress these skills better than you could have ever imagined, so keep working on them.

In love readings, four Sevens will appear when you’re manifesting the type of relationship which you want. Your thoughts and feelings are more powerful than you realize, you select them wisely. If you have recently been receiving omens and strange coincidences from the universe, this is why.

I also believe four Sevens are extremely desirable in business or career readings. If you’re hoping for a pay rise, better working conditions, etc. you should focus on those things right now. You have the potential to conjure up amazing things using the power of your mind and positive thinking.

Lots of Sevens: Three Sevens in a Tarot Reading

Three Sevens in a Tarot reading is similar to receiving four Sevens. However, while four Sevens predicts effortless manifestation, you’ll have to work a little harder with three Sevens. The trick is to use your psychic ability so that you can navigate your life.

Four Sevens, Three Sevens, Two Sevens in a Tarot reading

For your relationships, you can use your intuition to predict the likely outcome of certain situations and encourage/avoid them as you see fit. For example, your intuition might currently be screaming at you to get off of your partner’s back and trust the universe; it makes sense to go with your gut.

You are likely to see great success in career, business, or financial matters if you listen to your intuition, and use your Tarot cards as your guide. However, if you ignore the metaphysical world, then three Sevens predict that you will fail in these life areas.

Some Sevens: Two Sevens in a Tarot Reading

Two Sevens will appear in your Tarot card reading if you have begun to see signs and messages from God, the spirits, or the universe in your day to day life. These are markers that current situations in your life are significant.

Some Tarot readers believe that two Sevens are a sign of true love. However, I think it is more likely to mean that your partnership is going to be impactful on a spiritual level. You may even be convinced that you’re receiving signs that your partner is ‘the one’.

Finally, for career and business readings, two Sevens also indicates that you are at a significant time in your life for these areas. Follow the signals which God, the spirits, and the universe send you and you’ll be on the road to success.

Multiple Sixes in a Tarot Reading

You’ve performed your Tarot reading. You look down and, suddenly, there are multiple sixes. There could be two, three or, even, four sixes in your Tarot spread. You don’t know what to do, and wonder the meaning behind getting lots of sixes in your reading. If this sounds like you, do not worry as today we are going to interpret what it means to see all of these sixes!

The number six is the number of love and is associated with Aphrodite/Venus, the goddess of romance. Therefore, when lots of sixes appear in your Tarot spread, this usually points to your relationships; this is the backbone for how I am going to interpret the number six today.

Before we begin, I should point out that there are other interpretations for multiples, and I do recommend that you create your own. However, if you’re feeling too attached to the situation you’re reading about and cannot come up with your own just now, feel free to use mines below.

Let’s get to it!

Multiple Sixes in a Tarot Reading: Four Sixes in a Tarot Reading

As the number six symbolizes love, I am inclined to think that four Sixes would represent a soulmate connection. This is very good for romantic and relationship readings. Marriage and other major commitments could be on the cards.

However, you may not be reading a relationship. If you’re performing your reading about business or career, four Sixes is still a very, very positive omen. In 1911, Waite (creator of the Rider Waite Smith Tarot deck) noted that four Sixes predicted abundance; this is clearly positive if you’re looking to improve your finances.

Lots of Sixes: Three Sixes in a Tarot Reading

Receiving three Sixes is pretty much the same as receiving four but to a lesser extent. Love will not come as easily with three Sixes as it does with four. You and your partner will have to put a bit more effort in with your romance. However, make no mistake, this is still a very special relationship and one which has all the chances in the world of success.

Speaking of ‘success’, this is the keyword in which Waite uses to describe three Sixes. Therefore, if you’re reading Tarot about an opportunity, project, job, or business, your cards are predicting that the future is looking rosy. If you’re sitting on the fence about whether or not you should pursue something, then your cards are giving you a resounding ‘YES’!

Some Sixes: Two Sixes in a Tarot Reading

Two Sixes are favourable for love and relationship readings. You may not yet be at the point of three or four Sixes, but this relationship is defiantly special. Your lover’s intentions are pure, so if this is something which is worrying you, try to relax. All looks excellent on the romance front.

I would point out that Waite lists two Sixes as symbolizing ‘irritability’. Therefore, there may be some minor grievances in your partnerships and other areas of your life. Make sure that you’re getting annoyed at the things which are actually irritating you and not just taking your feelings out on anything and everything.
